Project Overview

The shuttered Sunrise Assisted Living Facility, also known as the Drabbington Lodge, located at 135 North Avenue was sold in 2022.

The most recent "Westonian" renovation from the 1990's converted the interior into 30 units with kitchenettes and en-suite bathrooms.  Unit sizes range 228-508 SF with an average of 347 SF. Other improvements included sprinkler system, elevator, fire alarm panel and a commercial kitchen.

After two years of evaluating possible uses for this unique structure, the new owner plans to repurpose the building into an age-restricted 62+ (previously 55+) apartment building.  The reconfigured interior should allow for 5-Studios, 13-One Bedroom and 2-Two Bedroom apartments (20 units total) each with separate kitchens.  Renovated unit sizes could range from 370-1130 SF with an average of 695 SF.
